GLOBAL CONSORTIUM OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTERS (GCEC)

The GCEC is the premier academic organization addressing the emerging topics of importance to the nation’s university-based entrepreneurship programs. It has become the vehicle by which the top, established entrepreneurship programs, as well as emerging programs, can work together to share best practices, develop programs and initiatives, and collaborate and assist each other in advancing, strengthening, and celebrating the role of universities in teaching the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

The GCEC is comprised of more than 600 individual members from approximately 300 schools and college. The organization hosts an annual conference, an awards program, and provides virtual webinars throughout the year. In 2022, the GCEC launched a Center Leader Certificate program in partnership with the Center Leader Academy to train new and aspiring center directors.

The monthly GCEC Virtual Connections series covers a variety of topics for entrepreneurship center directors. Register to attend an upcoming session or watch previous webinars here.

The GCEC is offering two convenings in 2024. Members can gather in Bangkok, Thailand for our inaugural Global Summit from June 20-22 and/or in Boston, Mass., from November 14-16 for our annual fall conference. Find links and details below.
